Season 13

America's Got Talent returns for Season 13 following a 12th season in which 12-year-old singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer from Oklahoma City took home the grand prize.

Judges Simon Cowell, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel, as well as host Tyra Banks, are all back.

With the search open to acts of all ages, America's Got Talent has brought the variety format back to the forefront of American culture by showcasing unique performers from around the world.

The series is a celebration of creativity and talent, featuring a colorful array of singers, dancers, comedians, contortionists, impressionists, magicians, ventriloquists and hopeful stars, all vying to win America's hearts and $1-million.

Season 12 winner Darci Lynne Farmer received the most votes ever for a finale show in America's Got Talent history and won viewers over with her performances alongside puppets Oscar and Petunia. With her "AGT" win in hand, Farmer is currently touring around the country.

Season 11 winner Grace VanderWaal followed up her win by releasing Perfectly Imperfect, which became the top-selling EP of 2016. She has since released her debut album, Just the Beginning, and sold out her own headlining tour.

Past "AGT" highlights include first-ever magician winner Mat Franco, who has been headlining his Magic Reinvented Nightly stage show at the LINQ Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas since 2015.

Other fan favourites include Season 8 winner Kenichi Ebina, who dazzled audiences with his surreal multimedia dance performances, and Season 7 winner Olate Dogs in 2012. Led by Richard Olate and his son Nicholas, this high-energy, fast-paced dog act was an audience favourite filled with unbelievable pet tricks.

The second season of America's Got Talent introduced audiences to Terry Fator, a ventriloquist, singer and comedian from Dallas who has headlined in Las Vegas since 2007 and currently performs at the Mirage Hotel.

America's Got Talent was created by Simon Cowell and is co-produced by FremantleMedia North America and Syco Entertainment. Simon Cowell, Sam Donnelly, Jason Raff, Trish Kinane and Richard Wallace are the executive producers.
