Peep Show is a British television sitcom created by Andrew O'Connor, Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain which follows the often sexually-frustrated lives of two men in their late twenties and early thirties who met during their student days and who now share a flat together in Croydon, South London.

The series premiered in the UK on Channel 4 on 9 September, 2003.

Peep Show premiered in South Africa on TopTV's Fox FX channel on Thursday 6 May 2010, at 20h50. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.

Season 8 has not yet aired in South Africa.

Synopsis

Award-winning comedy Peep Show, from David Mitchell and Robert Webb (That Mitchell and Webb Look), features two dysfunctional roommates try to balance life and love while sharing an apartment in London.

In its unique, story-telling way, Peep Show reveals the deepest, darkest inner thoughts of the roommates - Mark (David Mitchell), a sensible, professional man who is the polar opposite to his roommate Jeremy, a lazy, wannabe pop star (Robert Webb) - as they go about their day.

Having met while at the fictional Dartmouth University together - they occasionally refer to themselves as 'The El Dude Brothers' in reference to their student days - they now share a flat in Croydon, South London.

Mark is a loan manager at the fictional JLB Credit. He is the more financially successful of the two, but is extremely uncomfortable socially and pessimistic about nearly everything.

Jeremy now rents Mark's spare room. He usually has a much more optimistic and energetic outlook on the world than Mark, yet his self-proclaimed talent as a musician is yet to be recognised, and he is not as popular or attractive as he would like to think himself.
