Season 3

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is an American television sitcom created and developed by Rob McElhenney, Glenn Howerton and Charlie Day and produced by Bluebush Productions which follows the exploits of a group of self-centered friends who run Paddy's Pub, an unsuccessful Irish bar in South Philadelphia.

Five egocentric friends who run a neighbourhood Irish pub in Philadelphia try to find their way through the adult world of work and relationships.

Unfortunately, their warped views and precarious judgments often lead them to trouble, creating a myriad of uncomfortable situations that usually only get worse before they get better.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia was created by Rob McElhenney and is executive produced by McElhenney, Day, Howerton, Michael Rotenberg, Nick Frenkel and Tom Lofaro. The show is produced by FX Productions.

Broadcast Notes

Season 3 premiered on M-Net on Friday 21 August 2009, at 22h30. A further two episodes aired on 28 August, after which the show went on hiatus. Season 3 resumed on M-Net with Episode 4 on Friday 27 November 2009, at 22h55. Double episodes aired back-to-back each week. Episode times varied according to the length of the preceding movie.
