Starring standup comedian Ray Romano in the title role, Everybody Loves Raymond revolves around Ray Barone, a successful sportswriter living on Long Island with his wife Debra, 13-year-old daughter, Ally, and 9-year-old twin sons, Geoffrey and Michael.
Ray's meddling parents, Frank and Marie, live directly across the street and embrace the motto "Su casa es mi casa," managing to infiltrate their son's home to an unparalleled extent.
In the Season 8 premiere, "Fun with Debra": When Debra sees that Ray is having fun with twins Michael and Geoffery, she wonders why he can't have that much fun with her.
She convinces Ray to let her join him on the golf course, and although it starts out well, things soon go pear-shaped.
