Season 7

Scrubs is an American dramedy television series created by Bill Lawrence which focuses on the lives of several people working at Sacred Heart, a teaching hospital. It features fast-paced dialogue, slapstick, and surreal vignettes presented mostly as the daydreams of the central character, Dr. John "J.D." Michael Dorian.

The series premiered in the USA on NBC on 2 October, 2001. It moved to ABC from its eighth season on and ended after nine seasons and 181 episodes on 17 March, 2010. On 14 May, 2010, it was announced that Scrubs was officially cancelled by ABC.

Scrubs premiered in South Africa on M-Net on Tuesday 14 May 2002, at 19h00. It later aired on DStv's Sony Entertainment Television (SONY) channel and on TopTV's Fox Entertainment channel.

See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.

Season 7 originally aired on M-Net from 29 July to 7 October, 2008, on Tuesdays at 19h00. New episodes broadcast weekly.

Season 7 aired on SONY from 2-9 December, 2009. New episodes broadcast in a double bill at 19h30 daily, on weekdays.

Season 7 premiered on Fox Entertainment on Thursday 2 February 2012, at 22h30. New episodes broadcast in a double bill daily, on weekdays. There are 11 episodes in the seventh season, which was shortened due to the 2007/8 WGA strike.

Season 7

Early this season, a new and very important character will shake things up, as J.D. and Kim (guest star Elizabeth Banks) welcome their first child.

Since their relationship has been rocky from the start (getting Kim pregnant on their first date, Kim lying about a miscarriage after moving away), we'll either see them get closer - or move further apart.

J.D.'s relationship with Kim will probably also be more complicated since the girl he was kissing in the Season 5 finale was the recently-engaged Elliot (Sarah Chalke).

Elliot will struggle with the idea of whether or not to go forward with her upcoming marriage to Keith (Travis Schuldt).

In true Sacred Heart fashion, Janitor (Neil Flynn) will go green and try to make the hospital more environmentally friendly. Dr. Kelso (Ken Jenkins) talks his son through a recent heartache.

This season Scrubs will include a favourite returning guest star with an appearance by Tom Cavanagh, as J.D.'s brother, Dan.
