Season 3
Orkney Snork nie! is a South African, Afrikaans-language sitcom created by Willie Esterhuizen which revolves around the Van Tonder family from Orkney, a small mining town.
The head of the household, Hendrik (Zack du Plessis), is a shift boss on the mines and his wife, Maggie (Annette Engelbrecht), is a housewife. They have four children: Ouboet (Frank Opperman), Bennie (Charl van Heyningen), Hester (Clara Joubert) and Wimpie (Anrich Herbst).
From time to time other family members such as grandfathers and grandmothers stay over with the family and cause all manner of mischief.
From Season 3, the Van Tonders also take on two foster children, Riekie and Neelsie.
Written and directed by Willie Esterhuizen, the series was initially executive produced by Sandra Kotzé and Barbara von Pfeil for WESTEL Produksies. Willie and Pieter Esterhuizen produced the show for the third season.
Music for the first two seasons was composed by Nicky Saks. Mynie Grové wrote the music for the third season.
