Synopsis

In Little Stempington, the women don't kill time - they kill each other, with anything from pistols to potato peelers, because this unremarkable town has secretly become more like the hoods of east LA than an average English suburb.

Beneath the facade of Women's Institute fundraisers, mid-morning yoga classes and the twice daily school run lies a secret super-sexed, super-violent world where industrial strength viagra is shaved into husbands' suppers with fresh parmesan, and high doses of HRT are smuggled in from the continent.

Into this rural battlefield walk innocent Joyce Hazeldine and her policeman husband Jeremy, itching to find a stress-free life away from the high crime rate of the big city.

As wife of the new local superintendent, Joyce soon becomes an unwilling pawn in the epic power struggle between two rival gangs, and has to learn to swim and shoot or sink and die.

These women mean business and if this involves 'terminating' a few local residents to get their next botox fix then so be it.

Think Desperate Housewives meets Kill Bill - only without the suntans or the samurais.
