Season 2
Homecoming is a South African television soapie which revolves around Zethu, a woman fresh off losing everything in the big city who is forced back to the rural village she fled.
But home is not what it used to be, and neither is she.
Set in the rural town of Bergville, KwaZulu-Natal, Homecoming follows Zethu Hlongwane (Mpume "Six" Nyamane), a straight-A medical graduate hoping to become one of the country's few Black female surgeons.
But when things don't turn out how she had hoped, with no job or placement, she is forced to return to the village she left behind.
There, Zethu finds herself at the crossroads of two worlds, that of western medicine and traditional healing when she meets Sifiso Kubheka (Thembinkosi Mthembu).
Sifiso is a police officer by day and a traditional healer by night, challenging everything she thought she knew about love, healing and home.
Season 2 stars Six Nyamane as Zethu, Sipho Manzini as Zenzo, Khombi Phetla as Matron Khathazile, Mpilo Mbatha as Shobane, Thuli Zulu as MaShabalala, Shine Madela as MaNkwanyane, Jabulani Masilela as Shwabi and Amahle Khumalo as MaNgcobo.
In the Season 2 premiere, "Guilty Until Proven Innocent": Sifiso's death sends shockwaves through Okhambeni, as Shobane tries to plead his innocence.
Meanwhile, Shwabi's teenage son arrives bringing laughter... and something far more dangerous.

Broadcast Notes
For the first five days, Season 2 aired on Mzansi Magic on Monday-Friday in double bills at 21h00. Episode 11 aired on Saturday 4 July, 2026; thereafter this changed to weekdays at 21h00 in single bills, beginning with Episode 12 on Monday 6 July, 2026.
