Season 14
The quest to find Mzansi's next Idol begins when Season 14 premieres, promising drama, fashion, tears, triumphs and unforgettable moments.
The show retains ProVerb as host this season, accompanied by returning judges Unathi, Somizi and Randall Abrahams.
This season kicked off the auditions phase in Kwazulu-Natal at North Beach Amphitheatre in Durban. Musa Sukwene, the Season 9 winner, filled a seat on the panel as a guest judge.
From there the show travelled to Cape Town's Century City Conference Centre. Hopefuls came in numbers having been inspired by Paxton's rise to stardom in Season 13. House producer DJ Cleo filled the guest judge's seat for Cape Town.
Capital City in Pretoria hosted the third round of auditions with guest judge Dr Malinga. The final stop for the auditions was Johannesburg, where Rebecca Malope brought her extensive music experience to play.
Idols also made its way to Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth and Polokwane for pop up auditions.
