Ezase Afro is a South African docu-reality television series which goes behind the scenes of the Durban-based music production company and artist stable Afrotainment, covering the friendships and the family and providing an intimate look at how the company became a success.
Afrotainment, which is headed by entrepreneur Mthokozisi Khathi (better known as DJ Tira), has represented several house music artists including DJ Fisherman, DJ Cindo and Big Nuz.
What does it take to get to the top and stay there? Tira is about to let the curtain down on his life, his business, his deal-making and success in this reality series that follows him and Afrotainment.
From meeting tight deadlines for corporate clients to hitting the stage full force, with demanding studio recordings and tour difficulties, the series showcases it all.
