With only three months to pay off his bank debt, Tony's beloved ballroom is on the line.. when his luck changes and he runs into Denise. He sees in Denise an answer to his prayers - and his debt.
Showbands follows Tony's attempts to revive his own career as a promoter, introducing Denise to the world of 1960s rural Ireland as a showband star. 'Irish Elvis' Ricky Duvall and his comical manager Frank are enticed to help as they weave their shrewd and sometimes humorous plan for 'showband' domination.
