Miss SA hopefuls strut their stuff in this 2006 season of the annual beauty pageant that includes the search for their younger counterpart - Miss SA Teen. The five episode show goes through the process of finding two South African beauty queens and starts by visiting different regions across South Africa to scout the talent. Thereafter the finalists gather in Johannesburg where they're put through their paces as they attempt to prove why they have the beauty, brains and brawn to win the final titles. The show culminates in a live gala event on 9 December, 2006 at Sun City's Superbowl where the winners will take over from the reigning queens, Nokuthula Sithole (Miss SA) and Bertha-Marie Le Roux (Miss Teen SA).Contestants (and their supplied biographies) are listed below, except for Miss SA contestant Nicole van Cittert who requested her profile be removed.
