Bio
Remona is an 18-year-old electrical engineering student at the University of Cape Town, for which she received a fully paid scholarship to attend. Remona aspires to start her own engineering company and to obtain her pilots license.
At 17, Remona was crowned Miss India South Africa and was placed in the top 5 worldwide and she was awarded Miss photogenic at the Miss India Worldwide Pageant in Mombai.
She matriculated with 5 distinctions and received subject prizes for mathematics, science, Biology and English
Her hobbies include reading, belly dancing, playing cricket and fishing. Some of her free time is spent rendering community services at the Liliebloom Children’s Home where she serves as a mentor and friend to abused and abandoned children.
