Buzz About Gospel is a South African music-themed quiz show produced by Gabaza Productions which celebrates a legacy and heritage of gospel music in South Africa by showcasing established old hymns through a series of quizzes which reflect the established places of worship that drew the inspiration to this genre of music.
The series premiered on SABC1 on Sunday 7 July 2013, at 17h30. New episodes broadcast weekly. There are 26 half-hour episodes in the series.

Buzz About Gospel encompasses music that celebrates the heritage and rooted tradition of gospel music in South Africa by reflecting the established places of worship that drew the inspiration to this genre of music.

Buzz About Gospel showcases established old hymns, allowing the audience to identify with the show due to the familiarity of these sing-along old traditional songs that have accessibility to both young and old.
The music show is made up of five short and fun quizzes, each following an audiovisual cue (1 insert + 4 music videos) as a source from which the quiz questions are asked.
Each video cue and succeeding Q&A quiz is a segment and each episode comprises four segments.
The executive producer and director is Sarah Thabethe with additional direction by Joy Dikgale. The series is produced by Gabaza Productions.
