Nontle Sangqu, a Xhosa girl and Lefa Monaheng, a Sotho boy, fall in love despite the feud that has been strewn across generations between their two families following iMfecane in the 1800s. What are the odds that their love would survive this?
Episode 2: "The World is Against Us"
An unexpected return of Motsamai, Lefa's father is met with caution by his wife Aus'Beauty. His arrival rattles the cage and impacts on whether or not Lefa could persue his new relationship with Nontle.
Episode 3: "Decisions! Decisions!"
Nontle is dumped and pregnant. The discovery puts a screech to her future plans. Would Lefa be by her side and give her all the support the situation needs or would it further complicate an already complex situation.
Epsiode 4: "Damage Control"
The Sangqus descend the Monaheng homestead to present Nontle's pregnancy. They are unexpected and unwelcomed guests to the Monahengs.

Lefa tries everything to win back Nontle. He will endure everything thrown his way to get her back.
Episode 6: "What Doesn't Kill You..."
Nontle is poisoned. She and the baby's lives are at stake. She is rushed to the hospital, to much regret, blame and hysteria.
Episode 7: "A Thin Line Between Love and Death"
Nontle is on the life-support machine and she flat-lines...
Episode 8: "Lobola Damage"
Lefa sends the Monaheng uncles to negotiate lobola for Nontle. They are met with hostility and unexpected demands.
Episode 9: "The Art of Negotiation"
The feud between the Monaheng and the Sangqu continues to mar the negotiation process. Each side is determined that they "know better" - yet would they be able to put their differences aside and focus on the young couple and their future?
Episode 10: "Pay Your Way"
After much success with the lobola, Lekunutu and Motsamai remind Lefa that he needs to get out and get a job because the family would not rescue him again with the up-coming wedding. He finds a job alright, but is it really the job they had in mind?
Episode 11: "The First Bachelor Party of Matatiele
It's the eve of the wedding and with all the excitement going around, Lefa is the guest of honour to "the first bachelor party of matatiele" while Nontle catches up with her bestie... it's all pre-wedding jitters. Nontle has a surprise visit that may change the course of her life with Lefa.
Episode 12: "Speak or Forever Hold Your Piece"
It's the day of the wedding. Will Nontle show up to her wedding? After everything that the relationship has gone through, can she really trust Lefa and rely on his word? It is a big moment of her life and she has to make a decision one way or the other. Would her decision lead her down the aisle?
Episode 13: "The Father Of The Bride"
It's a big traditional wedding celebration and each side wants to outshine the other. With the return of TaRich, Nontle's father, the celebrations take on a sour tone.
