Episode 1
An aeroplane with a load of gold departs the Free State goldfields to the refinery on the Rand. Half way through the flight the plane vanishes from the radar screens and from the radio contact disappears. The disappearance of the gold destroys the lives of all that are involved.
Episode 2
When Carstens, whose career has been destroyed by the plane's disappearance, starts investigating the case again, strange things begin to happen. He meets the robber's daughter, Charlotte and knows that nothing will ever be the same again. There is more behind the robbery than meets the eye and dark forces that planned and executed the robbery are still at work in the community.
Episode 3
As the relationship between Carstens and Charlotte grows, so does the threat. Incomprehensive words lead to a bar fight that leads to a specific threat and possible self ritual murder in Carstens house. The threat is clearly directed at Carstens.
Episode 4
The remarkable Captain Jacobs sums up the danger and insists that Carstens disappears for awhile. But Charlotte suddenly disappears and Carstens breaks his promise to the Captain and goes looking for her. He finally finds her – busy with unexplainable things in a strange place.
Episode 5
The reasons for Charlotte's strange behaviour become apparent. She also starts being followed and escapes danger but someone else is not so lucky and a second murder is committed. Due to the innocent victims negligence it seems as though her innocence is a cover and that she is not acting without international assistance.
Episode 6
Charlotte discovers some interesting family background and receives an exceptional inheritance and a letter from a murder victim. But in between there is an attempt on Carstens life and it begins the unravelling of the secret of Charlie who during the robbery phoned out of Dar es Salaam and put everyone on the wrong trail.
Episode 7
The surprise of Inge Bessermann is arranged, Charlotte meets the lawyer Delweary and discovers still more about her background and the secrecy that's attached to it. She scatters the ash in a strange surrounding while unknown eyes are watching her in the dark.
Episode 8
The Captain throws his dangerous ash out. At Delweary's office Charlotte undergoes a heart rendering experience when her past is opened in front of her and she starts realising just how deep her background goes. She receives an unusual seal and learns about the unusual actions of the lawyer. But is he just fishing?
Episode 9
An earlier murder, eight years before the robbery makes its way to the surface. The ash that the Captain threw out gets picked up but the fish becomes undone. Charlotte becomes someone else. Heinrich and Nanette's arrest becomes more apparent and they decide to run.
Episode 10
Heinrich and Nanette run. Charlie's identity gets discovered and Lindenberg and Carstens begin a search. Charlotte and the Captain play a game and she and Carstens write a poem with serious percussions.
Episode 11
Charlotte and the Captain discover holes in the text and receive a message. Carstens and Lindenberg experience the difficulty of heights and become part of a plot.
Episode 12
We meet the leader of the aeroplane. Johannes sees paradise opening in front of him and discovers the painful touch of the whip. Charlotte receives a strange visit and goes to the lawyers and she and Koot disappears. The Captain asks Johannes one question.
Episode 13
The Captain leaves a message and receives help. He learns about an organisation and we see how Charlotte and Koot get played against each other. Charlotte gets prepared for the Alter. Linden and Carstens are forced to dive.
