Episode 1
Jaws, bloodied and boozed, reveals to Inspector Luthuli the sequence of events that began six months earlier and led him to the point of no return.
Episode 2
Mingus has taken over as CEO but his indelicate ways are alienating everyone in the office. As Jaws is no longer at the Lab, a new finance hotshot is hired. Jaws is left to find his own way and meets the mysterious and cunning businesswoman, Faith.
Episode 3
Monty puts his energy into new business while Mingus engages the services of a life coach. Pamela finds it difficult to fit into The Lab and Jaws must convince Faith to trust him before they can embark on an ambitiously profitable and illegal business venture.
Episode 4
Jaws and Faith bring a business proposal to The Lab but it's going to be a tough sell. Monty's disillusionment with his worth at the Lab continues to grow and Mingus's mother is robbed.
Episode 5
Jaws and Faith's illegal business blossoms, but it attracts the attention of some very sinister characters. Monty tells Andre he wants to adopt a baby together and Mingus has a falling out with his life coach.
Episode 6
Jaws is haunted by his conscience but continues to scam The Lab. Tumi and the new PA, Elsa, interfere in Pamela's personal life and Monty and Andre investigate adopting a baby. Mingus and Faith have an unexpected encounter.
Episode 7
Jaws is continually paranoid, Mingus pursues Faith, Monty and Andre try to engage the services of a surrogate mother and Tumi discovers that there is more to Pamela's life than meets the eye.
Episode 8
Monty's suspicions of Jaws' bad business dealings are growing. Jaws will stop at nothing to claim his family back. Mingus is forced to look after his 10-year-old cousin Mpho, while Pamela's brother pursues Tumi and Monty and Andre adopt a baby.
Episode 9
Monty struggles to become a good father while his relationship with Jaws seems beyond repair. Faith and Mingus have become closer but Faith's conscience may not allow her to commit to him. Pamela reveals her secrets to Tumi.
Episode 10
Disaster strikes at the mine, setting the course for a breakdown between Jaws and Faith. Monty must look after his sick baby. Mpho runs away from Mingus and gets lost in the city. Jaws finally confesses his situation to Monty.
Episode 11
Monty turns on Jaws and is determined to leave town with Andre and the baby. Jaws seeks the help of an old comrade but a policeman has already started asking questions. Mingus and Faith's affair heats up while Tumi tries unsuccessfully to help Pamela.
Episode 12
Mingus learns the truth about Faith and is forced to decide between his love and the law. Tsholo is drawn into the conflict and put in danger while Faith manipulates Jaws and seeks out one of his old adversaries.
Episode 13
Jaws must protect himself and his family from Faith and other unsavoury characters. Mingus has proof Faith is still running the gold mine and must make a choice. Jaws still has a plan to come out on top but he will lose everything in the process.
