Jaws is paid a visit by the National Prosecuting Authority who is determined to find proof of a bribe between Jaws and Skhumbuzo.
Mingus starts becoming demanding in his relationship with Sam, leaning on her to settle down and get serious, all of which has Sam uncomfortable.
Pearl has to grapple with her and Fikile's distinctly different styles when she decides to take him to the Business Woman of the Year Awards.
Stuart puts the pressure on Monty to take him to the awards show.
Episode 11
Jaws is hospitalized with gunshot wounds and while he tells everyone he was hijacked, the reality is it was a warning from Skhumbuzo to keep Jaws from turning state witness about the bribe.
Monty and Pearl desperately try to support Jaws but they have growing fears of his innocence and the risk to the company.
Samantha puts the breaks on her and Mingus's relationship. He doesn't handle the rejection well and finds himself on the outs with everyone.
Pearl and Fikile find themselves locked in battle both in business and romance.
Episode 12
Bad luck surrounds the Lab, as Jaws is placed further under the microscope of corruption and the repercussions are affecting everyone at the Lab.
The National Prosecuting Authority ceases all the computers at the Lab determined to question everyone until they can corner Jaws on the case.
The Foundation is losing money due to the Lab's poor performance and Pearl is left to pick up the pieces has the company is buckling under the investigation and bad press.
Mingus has lost everything and seems content to stew in the disaster of his own making. Mingus is confronted by Sam and his mother to take charge of his life and get his act together.
Episode 13
Jaws is arrested for murder, Monty posts his bail, but Jaws must find a way to prove his innocence at any cost.
In order to save the Foundation, Pearl must accept a financial deal which will ultimately weaken her control in the Lab.
Sam and Mingus work out a plan to leverage their involvement at the Lab and settle on the terms of their ended love affair.
