Description

Rules of Engagement is an American television sitcom produced by Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Productions which follows two couples and their single friend, all at different stages in their relationships, as they deal with the complications of dating, commitment and marriage.

The series aired in the USA on CBS from 5 February, 2007 to 20 May, 2013. There are 100 half-hour episodes in seven seasons.

Rules of Engagement premiered in South Africa on SABC3 on Thursday 11 December 2008, at 21h30. It later aired on DStv's Comedy Central channel. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.

Synopsis

Rules of Engagement is a comedy about the different phases of male/female relationships, as seen through the eyes of a newly engaged couple, Adam (Oliver Hudson) and Jennifer (Bianca Kajlich), a long-time married pair, Jeff (Patrick Warburton) and Audrey (Megyn Price), and a single guy on the prowl, Russell (David Spade).

As they will find out, no matter what stage of life they're in, when it comes to love connections, life is full of twists and turns, conflicting needs and varying points of view.

It's a world of self-discovery without a book of rules to lead them, but when they accidentally get something right, it can be wonderful.

People can describe the ride to you, but to really know what it's like you have to experience it for yourself.
