Top Travel is a South African travel series which finds rare and exotic locations to showcase from the perspective of what would make them interesting to South Africans.
The first season was hosted by five Top Billing presenters - Janez Vermeiren, Jeannie D, Jo-Ann Strauss, Michael Mol and Nico Panagio - as well as newcomer Angelique Schoeman.
After the first season, Janez and Jeannie D became the sole hosts for the next two seasons. They were replaced by Fezile Mkhize and Anesu Mbizvo in Season 4.
The show is a weekly around-the-world experience. Each episode is themed, covering the top locations in that category.
These range from the top deserts and top places to have high tea, to the top golf courses, ski resorts, diving destinations, spas, hotels, nature reserves, train journeys, gardens, whiskies, wines and the most tropical islands.
The first three seasons were produced by Tswelopele Productions as a sister show to the SABC3 magazine show Top Billing.
