Description

Home Salvage is an Irish reality television series produced by RTE Television in which property expert Mark Daly guides eight families through renovating their homes using as much salvaged material as possible.

The series originally aired in Ireland on RTE One from 7 September to 26 October, 2007. There are eight half-hour episodes in the series.

Home Salvage premiered in South Africa on DStv's The Home Channel on Thursday 4 September 2008, at 19h30.

Synopsis

As the property market enters softer times, people are wondering should they now stay put and re-vamp their homes?

Home Salvage will guide eight families and individuals along the rocky road to restoration.

From a multi-million euro Georgian house in Blackrock to a cottage in Co. Clare, every owner is determined to restore their house using as much salvaged material as possible.
