Synopsis

Join cookery writer Nigel Slater, one of the UK's best-loved food writers, as he explores the lives of celebrity guests through their personal food memories and recipes.

In each episode Nigel chats to a celebrity guest who reveals all about their lives and food preferences.

Amongst others, Janet Street-Porter recollects some of her best and worst foods; actress Vanessa Redgrave reminisces over the food of her youth, while revealing some of the pressures of growing up within a performing family; and Max Beesley reveals how the loss of his mother led to his decision to take on a gritty role in medical drama, Bodies.
