Isibhamu is a South African supernatural television drama series which tells the story of a heartbroken young man who sets out on a mission to avenge his father's murder, which inadvertently upends his life.
In the course of this quest, Sphamandla's (Khojane Morai) decision unleashes powerful and evil forces that could change the course of his life forever.
In his pursuit of justice, he comes into possession of a powerful gun possessed by an evil muthi spirit, which ignites a relentless thirst for vengeance.
As the story unfolds, the gun makes its way through the community, possessing whoever comes into contact with it.
Sphamandla must find a way to end the chaos it is causing, uncover his true identity, and find a way to calm or rid the cursed gun of its thirst for blood.
Isibhamu also stars Lerato Mokoka, Ncibijana Madlala, Nhlanhla Masiya, Duduzile Ngcobo, Elliot Makhubo and Mazola Ntombela, with guest appearances from Zakhele Msibi, who reprises his role as Sunday Nkabinde from the soapie Isibaya.
Isibhamu is a The Three Warlocks Production, created by Ranga Chikwene based on the Zambian drama series Mfuti and co-produced by Crystal Pics TV.
Chikwene is the executive producer, the producer and the head writer, with a writing team including Paul S Rowlston, Thapelo Motloung, Nombulelo Mcwerah and Sebabatso Mofokeng.
The directors include Dominic Black, Nthabi Tau and Siyabonga Mkhize.
