Gomora is a South African telenovela which revolves around the the worlds of the upper- and lower-class communities of posh Sandton and neighbouring Alexandra - a crowded, hard-working township nicknamed Gomora.
An unfortunate series of events causes two families on either side of this divide to collide, revealing a complex story of romance, social inequalities and prejudices.

Ama Qamata plays Buhle, a beautiful young girl who takes after her mother and is extremely popular at school.
Siya Xaba stars as Langa, the first born son of Thathi who has grown up in luxury in Sandton, with a successful father and a beautiful mother.
Siphesihle Ndaba stars as Mazet, the gorgeous and dangerous young woman who tempts Ntobeko into a life of crime.
Siyasanga Papu plays Pretty, Thathi's younger sister who has spent her whole life in her older sister's shadow and who has a tendency towards bitterness.
Sicelo Buthelezi plays Teddy, who struggles with reading and memory because his mother drank while she was pregnant with him.
Rounding out the cast is Themba Ndaba as Mbongeni, Thathi's husband who is the CEO and one of the major shareholders of CBS bank.
Gomora is an M-Net Original Production which was produced as an Mzansi Magic Production by Seriti. The series was created by Gwydion Beynon, Phathushedzo Makwarela and Kutlwano Ditsele; and co-created by Amanda Lane.
