Synopsis

Executive producer Bruce Helford created a new comedy imbued with the same honest, working-class sensibility that made his The Drew Carey Show an instant success, but with a sex appeal that only comes from Nikki Cox.

Free-spirited Nikki (Nikki Cox, The Norm Show, Unhappily Ever After) has trained all her life to be a dancer and is anxious to start her career as a Las Vegas showgirl.

Dwight (Nick von Esmarch) dreams of becoming a professional wrestler but his dominating mother, Marion (Christine Estabrook), has persuaded him to believe corporate tax law would be a safer vocation.

On the eve of his departure to a California college, Dwight meets Nikki and soon discovers she's more than just a girl trying to bum a ride to Las Vegas. She's the love of his life -and his mother's worst nightmare.

Much to Marion's eternal chagrin, Nikki convinces Dwight to pursue his blue-collar dream and they elope to Vegas where he chucks his college plans to enroll in the nation's top training program for professional wrestling. So begins the pursuit of their dreams in the world's most counterfeit city.

Off-the-wall, unpredictable and yet down-to-earth, Nikki is a half-hour situation comedy from executive producers Bruce Helford and Deborah Oppenheimer (The Norm Show, The Drew Carey Show) and Warner Bros. Television.
