Ashton Kutcher hosts his Candid Camera type show to Punk out celebrities who he feels deserve to be brought back down to Earth.
Using hidden cameras and staged scenarios involving accomplices Ashton sets up situations that trick his target celebrity into believing the chaos that's happening to them is very real.
Once the celebrity gets lost in the situation to the point of either having a freak-out or getting furious about the ridiculousness of the situation they're suffering, Ashton or one of his crew will reveal to the truth, calling out "You've been Punk'd" to blow their cover.
Each episode begins with Ashton introducing which celebrity's going to get Punk'd and why. He explains the scenario, who else is involved and where the action will take place before going off to make it happen.
Most of the pranks happen in and around Los Angeles in places like parks, hotel rooms, at people's homes, at film and TV studios and parking lots. Some also take place at different celebrity events including award ceremonies and movie premieres.
