Synopsis

Major Dad follows the story of the single, dedicated marine Major John D. MacGillis, whose life completely changes when he meets, falls in love with and marries reporter Polly Cooper who comes to interview him for an article critical of the marines.

They are opposites: he is orderly, she is not; he is conservative, she is liberal; he is a lifelong bachelor, she has three daughters.

However, their undeniable chemistry leads them to start a new family life together.

But not everything is as easy as it looks...

Polly (and her kids from a previous marriage) have to learn how to deal with being a Marine family, while Major MacGillis has to learn how to be a Dad and balance his hectic family life with his even more chaotic career.
