The Big Party Plan-Off is an American reality television series produced by 495 Productions in which each week two celebrity event planners go head to head in an attempt to dazzle viewers with their inventive party ideas.
The series premiered in the USA on the Style Network on 17 December, 2007. There are 10 hour-long episodes in the series.
The Big Party Plan-Off premiered in South Africa on DStv's Style Network on Monday 4 August 2008, at 18h00. New episodes air Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the same time.

Monday 4th August – #101: Aaron’s 30th Birthday Party
Aaron and his girlfriend Ashley's birthdays fall a couple of days apart. Most years, Ashley's birthday receives all of the attention but for his 30th, Ashley wants to give her boyfriend a party where he's the center of attention. For his part, Aaron sees this birthday as his last opportunity to be a kid and wants a party that celebrates his childhood.
Tuesday 5th August – #102: Ingrid & the boys
Ingrid and her boyfriend, Greg, share a townhouse with two other men. Additionally, two more guys live in the adjacent townhouse and Ingrid, lucky girl that she is, has taken on the role of "House Mother" to all of these males. To show their appreciation, Ingrid's "boys" will enlist the services of a professional party planner to give their house mom the ultimate party.
Wednesday 6th August – #103: Alicia and Aleisha
Alicia is recently divorced and feels ready to rejoin the singles scene. Her best friends, Aleisha and Libet are already looking forward to double dating with their friend and are ready to throw her a huge party to celebrate.
Monday 11th August – #104: LA Derby Girl’s End of Season Party
Two event planners pitch their party ideas to the Angel City Derby Girls, who want to celebrate a successful year. Will they be "Naughty or Nice" or have their "Wishes Come True"?
Tuesday 12th August – #105: Homesick Mason
A college student misses his southern roots, so his best friend throws him a party to remind him of home. Will he go with the ultra cool "Cali-bama" theme, or the laid-back "Best in Show" BBQ?
Wednesday 13th August – #106: Taelor’s Sweet 16
Taelor’s is celebrating her Sweet 16 and her sister wants to give her the party she has always wanted. Two planners pitch completely different ideas. Will she pick "Under the Sea" or "Lucky 16?"
Monday 18th August – #107: Engagement Party
Show Summary: Scott and Jenna are celebrating their engagement with a party thrown by their friend Ashley. Scott has converted to Judaism to show his commitment to Jenna's faith.
Tuesday 19th August – #108: Fashion Show
Ja'ire is an entrepreneur who has started a new clothing company. Her friends are helping her mark this achievement with a party that will include a fashion show to exhibit her clothing line.
Wednesday 20th August – #109: Joe and Molly’s West Coast Wedding Celebration
Joe and Molly Pitcher recently got married on the east coast and didn’t have a chance to celebrate with their friends from the west. Darren pitches a tropical luau, while Allana tries to sell them her "Lucky in Love" party. Joe and Molly, along with their good friends, will have to decide which party is right for them. The losing planner will have to assist the winner to pull it off!
Monday 25th August – #110: Nya’s 4th Birthday Party
Nya Baccelli is turning 4 years old and her parents want to throw her a fun-filled birthday party. Aydiee’s Garden Tea Party will have a ladybug theme, while Shelby’s Butterfly Princess Party will include face painting and a dress-up area. Nya will have to decide which party she likes better and the losing planner will have to assist the winner.
