The Weekend Edition is a South African breakfast magazine television show created as a spinoff of the weekday show Expresso and produced by Tswelopele Productions, which is broadcast live from Sea Point, Cape Town.
A spinoff of Expresso which airs on Saturdays and Sundays at the same time, the series aims to offer style, personality, interaction, active digital and social media discourse and creativity.
The original presenters of the show were Khanyi Mbau and Phat Joe.
The Weekend Edition is produced by Tswelopele Productions with executive producers Patience Stevens, Bradley van den Berg and Basetsana Kumalo. The show producer at launch was Paul van Deventer.
