About the Show

Pimp My Ride is an American reality makeover television series created by Bruce Beresford-Redman and Rick Hurvitz in which participants take one car in poor condition and restore it, as well as customise it.

The series aired in the USA on MTV from 2004-2007.

Synopsis

Pimp My Ride is the Extreme Makeover show for cars.  Think your car is dated and falling apart?  The Pimp My Ride team will sort that out for you.

Each episode features a new participant with a run down car, meeting and telling the team what they wish they had. Once the show is over, the car is completely transformed and barely recoginsable.

Add a pool table to the back of your van, or perhaps a water feature in your sedan? Nothing is impossible for Xzibit and the guys from West Coast Customs who make up the Pimp My Ride team.
