About the Show

Glam Fairy is an American reality makeover television series in which Alexa Prisco from the show Jerseylicious uses her unique New Jersey style to provide women with makeovers.

The series premiered in the USA on Style Network on 23 October, 2011.

Glam Fairy premiered in South Africa on DStv's The Style Network on Tuesday 20 December 2011, at 22h10. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.

Season 2 premiered on The Style Network on Thursday 11 April 2013, at 20h15. New episodes broadcast weekly. There are 10 episodes in the second season.

Season 1

Jerseylicious' Alexa Prisco has left the Gatsby Salon far behind and is finally doing things her way. You can step inside her Glam Factory and witness the makeover magic firsthand with Style's new series Glam Fairy.

Makeup artist extraordinaire and "Glam Fairy" herself Alexa Prisco has finally realised her lifelong dream: The Glam Factory is open for business and thriving.

Since leaving the Gatsby Salon in season two of Jerseylicious and establishing her own business, Alexa has worked hard to build her own glamorous home base where she showcases her makeover magic.

With her staff now in place, it's up to Alexa to keep the clients happy and her employees in check.

Season 2

Season 2 of Glam Fairy follows the romance between Alexa and her fiancé Danny, who broke through Alexa's emotional barriers to finally win her heart.

Alexa's life is now polar opposite of where she thought she would ever be - falling in love, getting married and having children are no longer considered taboo.

Always a perfectionist, Alexa realizes that she can't control everything, from planning her wedding to dealing with family drama to expanding her Glam Fairy empire.

With so many rapid changes, Alexa recruits fashion photographer Karl Giant and make-up artist Victoria as new Fairies to attract more business.

However, conflict and insecurities run rampant at the Glam Factory, putting relationships to the test as Alexa learns to manage her staff without ruining friendships.
