Synopsis

It's a Dogg's life for the man they call Snoop. As a recording artist, producer and actor, Snoop Dogg has carved out a permanent place in musical history but there's much more to the "Doggfather" than meets the eye...

Beneath his exterior is a family man facing up to the challenges of raising three kids, an advocate of sometimes controversial community causes and the involved founder of a youth football league.

This comedy reality series takes viewers inside the everyday life of Calvin Broadus, Jr. to reveal what really makes Snoop Dogg tick.

Characters

Shante (Boss Lady) is Snoop's wife and high school sweetheart who rules the roost. Shante manages the business of the family as Snoop forges a career path that includes eight platinum-selling albums, a youth football league, a line of pet supplies, a clothing line, films, commercials, books and being CEO of Doggy Style Records.

Snoop and Boss Lady's three children are the centre of their home and have inherited their parents' colourful spirit and charm.

Cordé ("Spank") is the oldest at 13. Reserved and thoughtful, he shares his father's love of football, along with his sparkling smile.

10-year old son Cordell ("Rook") has a sweet demeanour that is sometimes obscured by his love of money, which he is always scheming and plotting to get more of.

Cori ("Chocolate," "Choc"), the youngest of the bunch at 8, is an aspiring singer who lights up the room as soon as she enters. She may be sweet, but Chocolate's not at all intimidated by her big brothers.

There's also 21-year-old Anthony, Snoop's hairstylist's son, who was "adopted" into the family and considers Snoop and Boss Lady his second set of parents.
