Build or Bust is an American reality television series produced by Scott Gillen in which each week a motorcycle enthusiast is given the chance to build a custom bike from scratch in 30 days, and if it is completed to a judge's specification they get to keep the bike.
The series aired in the USA on Speed TV from 23 February, 2005 to 9 August, 2006.
Build or Bust premiered in South Africa on TopTV's Fox FX channel on Saturday 2 April 2011, at 20h30, beginning with Season 2. The first season did not air in South Africa due to rights issues. New episodes broadcast weekly.

Synopsis
Russell Mitchell, a lover of motorbikes since his youth and also the boss of Exile Cycles, a manufacturer which produces around 20 top-of-the-range choppers each year.
The challenge is simple: spend one month at Exile Cycles, the black sheep of the motorbike industry, and completely design and manufacture a new motorbike.
If the finished product meets with the approval of the boss, the apprentice leaves riding it, if not. they leave on foot.
