About the Show

The Ricky Gervais Show is a comedy audio show in the UK starring Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant and Karl Pilkington, later adapted into an animated televised version which consists of past audiobooks with animation, drawn in a style similar to classic era Hanna-Barbera cartoons, describing jokes in a literal context.

The series aired in the USA on HBO and in the UK on Channel 4 from 19 February, 2010 to 13 July, 2012. There are 39 half-hour episodes in three seasons.

The Ricky Gervais Show premiered in South Africa on DStv's Vuzu channel on Tuesday 4 January 2011, at 21h30. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.

Season 3 premiered on Vuzu on Wednesday 31 July 2013, at 23h30. New episodes broadcast weekly. There are 13 episodes in the third and final season.
