C.I.G.A.R.E. is a South African television lifestyle magazine series produced by ATTV Communications in which three presenters chase a variety of thrills on a journey of adventure and discovery throughout South Africa and Europe.
The series premiered on SABC3 on Wednesday 7 October 2009, at 20h31. New episodes air weekly. There are 13 half-hour episodes in the first season.
Synopsis
What do you get when you take three South African leading guy’s and set them on a free-spirited, anything-goes journey of adventure and discovery throughout South Africa and Europe?
C.I.G.A.R.E. follows three thrill-seekers on their quest for the good life, headed up by Mr South Africa 2008, Zino Ventura. There's also Etienne Petersen and Christopher Hlanganyana, both of whom were Mr SA 2008 finalists.
C.I.G.A.R.E. takes on acrobatic flying, 4x4 racing (or rolling), free fall sky-diving, crocodile diving, Italian traffic on Vespas, top car manufacturers such as Lamborghini and Pagani Zonda and famous and accomplished people.
On each episode viewers will also meet one of the 13 C.I.G.A.R.E models. They are:
