Anyone catch the start of The Leftovers on M-Net last weekend?  I got fully into it, I'm intrigued. I'm assuming they'll be going through alot of emotional turmoil and will come out at some other side.

I"ve had moments of being concerned about whether the show itself knows what's happening though. The fact that it's been co-created by Damon Lindelhof worries me because Lost scarred so deeply but then, on the other hand, I'm thinking that there's no way HBO will force a series to be longer than it should be. Also Lost wasn't Damon's fault, it was obviously the network who forced him to keep going.

There are definitely notable similairities between the two shows, specifically the fact that the Leftovers on the show are so Lost.
