Zoie Palmer is a Canadian actress best known for her television roles as Patsy Sewer on Instant Star (2006-2007) and as Carly Greig on The Guard, from 2008-2009.She currently stars as Lauren on the fantasy horror television series Lost Girl, since 2010.English-born Palmer is a graduate of York University’s Theatre Program and has appeared in a variety of film and television projects including the critically acclaimed movie The Regans and the Emmy Award-winning Out of the Ashes.She also portrayed Patsy in the series Instant Star, the zany Goth rock musician and a character that is a lifetime away from her role of the intense coast guard rescue specialist on The Guard, Carly.Palmer won the Best Actor Award at the Baja California Film Festival for her portrayal of cancer victim Annabelle in the film Terminal Venus.
