Shannyn Sossamon is an American actress, musician and dancer best known for her roles in the feature films A Knight's Tale (2001), The Rules of Attraction (2002) and One Missed Call (2008).
Sossamon's credits include the films Wristcutters: A Love Story, The Heavy, One Missed Call and Life Is Hot In Cracktown.
She has also appeared in 40 Days and 40 Nights, The Order, A Knight's Tale, The Rules of Attraction, The Holiday, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Chasing Ghosts and Undiscovered.
Her television credits include Law & Order: SVU, Dirt and Moonlight.
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Sossamon was raised in Reno, Nevada. After moving to Los Angeles to pursue a dancing career, she was spotted by a casting director while DJ-ing at a party and turned her energy toward acting.
In her spare time, Sossamon enjoys photography and writing music.
