Bio

Mike Rowe is an American television personality and voice artist best known for hosting the television documentary/reality series Dirty Jobs, from 2005-2012.

Rowe went to Overlea High School and went on to attend The Community College of Baltimore County at the Essex campus. He later graduated from Towson University in Towson, Maryland.

Before Dirty Jobs, the Discovery Channel sent Mike to the Valley of the Golden Mummies to host Egypt Week Live. There, he opened and explored ancient tombs live on air with Dr. Zahi Hawass, Egypt's foremost archeologist.

From Egypt, Mike traveled to the Bering Sea for the filming of Deadliest Catch, the network's series on Alaskan crab fishing, a profession widely considered to be the most dangerous in the world.

Rowe sang professionally with the Baltimore Opera, sold over $100-million of "simulated" diamonds on QVC and appeared in several dozen Tylenol commercials.

He hosted Worst Case Scenario for TBS, On-Air TV for American Airlines, The Most for The History Channel, No Relation for Fox and New York Expeditions for PBS.

He has narrated numerous television series, including American Chopper, American Hot Rod, Deadliest Catch, Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters International.

He has narrated over 1,000 hours of television and has performed in dozens of theatrical productions.

He is featured in the video game World of Warcraft as "Dirty" Michael Crowe, a fish vendor.
