Cody Caprari is a South African actress best known for her leading role as rock chick Gabriella in the SABC1 drama series Usindiso, from 4 December 2007.She started her career dancing in a music video for Yvonne Chaka Chaka at the age of 18 months.In 2004 she played Mary in A Nativity Story at the New Melville Theatre and in 2005 played the role of Joanna in the Naledi-nominated musical Children’s Letter to God.She has performed as a dancer and singer in various cabarets including It was a Dark and Stormy Night at the new Melville Theatre, and industrial corporates for Cell C, Wimpy and the City of Johannesburg.She appeared in the feature film Hoodlum and Son. In 2007 she played the role of Brandy in Edna O'Brien's Triptych at the Market Theatre.In December 2007 she began playing the role of Gabriella in the SABC1 drama series Usindiso.
