Nicky Hilton, born in New York City, New York is an American fashion model, socialite, fashion designer, and heiress to a part of the Hilton Hotel chain, as well as to about 5%-15% of her father's real estate fortune and investments.
She was the second of four children born to Richard Hilton and Kathy Richards. Her sister and brothers are Paris Hilton, Barron Hilton and Conrad Hilton.
On the maternal side of her family, Nicky Hilton is a niece of two popular child stars of the 1970s, Kim Richards and Kyle Richards, who appeared in the motion picture Escape to Witch Mountain and TV shows like Nanny and the Professor, Little House on the Prairie, and later, ER.
Her paternal grandparents are Barron Hilton and Marilyn Hawley.
She shares her nickname with her grandfather's brother Conrad "Nicky" Hilton, who died 14 years before she was born.
Nicky Hilton moved between several homes in her youth, including a suite in the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in Manhattan, Beverly Hills, and The Hamptons on Long Island, New York.
Hilton and sister Paris are known for their jet-set lifestyles, though Nicky has kept a lower profile. Her primary activities involve modelling, personal appearances, and designing handbags, and these activities earn Nicky nearly $1,000,000 per year.
Nicky Hilton has dated MTV VJ Brian McFayden, Ian Somerhalder in 2003, married Todd Andrew Meister in 15 August 2004 and divorced 9 November 2004, and Kevin Connolly from January 2005 to October 2006.
In 2005, Hilton, along with Kimberly Stewart, was the face of Australian underwear line Antz Pantz. Stewart remains contracted, however Hilton has since been replaced by Australian up-and-coming model Megan Maitland.
She has also begun her own clothes line for girls, juniors, and women under the name Chick By Nicky Hilton. Nicky has been linked socially with A-List doorman Andrew Brin.
Hilton graduated high school from the Convent of the Sacred Heart in NYC Upper East Side. She attended college at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons School of Design, but did not finish her fashion course.
She has made many handbag designs since she was 17. She has since launched her own clothing line, Chick by Nicky Hilton.
Hilton is signed with Nous Models in L.A. Nicky started off her career as a fashion model. Hilton has also done several runway shows for huge designers.
Nicky made her acting debut alongside her sister Paris Hilton in the film National Lampoon's Pledge This!, a straight to dvd release. She also made a cameo in Pauly Shore is Dead, also with sister Paris Hilton.
In 2003, Nicky was offered a role in a reality show with her sister, Paris Hilton, The Simple Life. She rejected the offer, but Paris went through with it, and her ex-best friend Nicole Richie was given the role.
The show went to have five seasons on the E! Network. Nicky appeared in two episodes.
