Nelson Lee is a Taiwanese-born Canadian actor best known for his role as Shen - Blade's sidekick - on Blade: The Series.

Born in Taipei, Taiwan and raised in Canada, Lee is a graduate of the University of Toronto and the American Academy of the Dramatic Arts in New York.

Lee's television credits include multiple guest-starring roles on series like Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Inetent, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and on the award-winning HBO prison drama Oz.

He also received critical acclaim for his role as slick import export drug boss Ronny Cho in the USA network's highly lauded mini-series Traffic.

Lee also starred in Sidney Lumet's 2004 television drama Strip Search. Revolving around the theme of post 9/11 national security, the film also stars Glenn Close, Ellen Barkin and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Lee has also hosted the popular HBO talk show program Chat Show and currently makes his home in New York.
