Xylon van Eyck is a South African radio disc jockey best known for being one of the finalists of the 2006 MTVbase VJ competition.Born and raised in Booysen Park Port Elizabeth, van Eyck attended Bethelsdorp Comprehensive in Salt Lake, Port Elizabeth and is currently station producer for Algoa FM.When asked: "What is the most important moment in your life to date?", Xylon replied: "Winning the Port Elizabeth VJ search".He attended the PE auditions of the MTVbase VJ Search in September 2006 and was one of the four finalists.He competed against the other finalists during the first two episodes of MTVbase World Chart Express, but lost out to Fikile Moeti.
