Bio
Zane Gillion is a South African actor, singer, dancer, voice artist and presenter best known for his role as Trevor in the first season of the SABC2 sketch comedy series Kompleks, in 2006.
He has appeared in numerous other television series including Generations, Oepse Daisy, Villa Rosa, Zero Tolerance, The Marc Lottering Show and Let Heaven Wait.
He has also been a presenter for such shows as Living Land, Pasella and Hatch.
Zane attended the University of Pretoria from 1997-1999, where he achieved a BA Drama. He has since gone on to perform in numerous educational theatre productions including Reality Bites, Playing for Keeps, Picture This, Little Bear and Golden Rule.
He has an extensive theatre resume as well having appeared in such productions as The Wizard of Oz, Sleeping Beauty, The Jungle Book, Jack and the Beanstalk, Calendar Boys, Fangs, Rent, High School Musical and Dreamgirls.
He received a Naledi Award nomination in 2008 for Best Newcomer/Breakthrough Performance - Male for his role in Rent.
