Leon Rippy is an American actor best known for his television roles as Tom Nuttall in Deadwood (2004-2006) and as the angel Earl in the drama series Saving Grace, from 2007-2010.

Rippy was seen in The Alamo as Sgt. William Ward. He also appeared in The Live of David Gale, The Patriot, The Thirteenth Floor, as Detective Boone in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Stargate, Universal Soldier and The Color Purple.

His television appearances include Six Feet Under, multiple episodes of Walker, Texas Ranger, The Fugitive, Diagnosis Murder, Star Trek: TNG and Hunter.

In 2012 he had a recurring role as Dr. Milton Beauregard in the short-lived science fiction television series Alcatraz.
