Jorge Garcia is an American actor and comedian best known for his starring role as Hugo "Hurley" Reyes in the cult science fiction television series Lost, from 2004-2010.

He first came to public attention with his performance as Hector Lopez on the sitcom Becker, from 2003-2004.

Garcia first realised that acting might be his forte when he played a villain in his school's seventh grade musical production. After graduating from UCLA, Garcia joined the Beverly Hills Playhouse and has been working steadily ever since.

His television credits include being a series regular on Becker, as well as guest stints on Curb Your Enthusiasm, Spin City, How I Met Your Mother, Fringe and Mr. Sunshine.

He has performed on various L.A. stages as a standup comedian, as well as in productions of The Midnight Zone, Something Borrowed Something Blue and Romancing Valentino.

A native of San Juan Capistrano, California, Garcia resides in Los Angeles.
