Arthur Mbambo was a South African actor best known for his roles as Mnyamane Buthelezi (Thandaza's father) on the SABC2 soapie Muvhango and as Frank Tshabalala on the SABC1 drama series Tshisa.
Arthur started his career in 1982 with no formal training and appeared in numerous TV shows and feature films - most commonly playing priests and policemen.
Besides acting, he was also a pastor and author.
On Tuesday, 4 August 2020 his daughter Mbali Mbambo confirmed that he had died.
