Thandeka Nodada (maiden name Thandeka Malinga) is a South African actress best known for her role as make-up artist Thuli in the SABC1 drama series Tshisa, in 2006.
The makers of Tshisa spotted her playing a cameo in Mtunzini.com and offered her the role of Thuli.
Thandi is the only person from her home town of KwaMakutha to ever study drama and is the talk of the town whenever she appears on the small screen.
Other television series she has acted in include A Place Called Home, Bay of Plenty, Erfsondes, Izoso Connexion and Mtunzini.com.
She has also acted in numerous theatre productions including Medea, Grease, Showboat, You Strike a Woman, You Strike a Rock, Animal Farm and Loving Lulu.
She has also acted in a number of television commercials for clients including Ricoffy, Finish dishwasher, MTN, Vodacom and Assupol. Her corporate and industrial theatre credits include IEC, South African Airways, BHP Billiton, Sun International and Edcon.
Thandeka holds a National Diploma in Drama from the Durban Institute of Technology and a B Tech degree in Drama from the Tshwane University of Technology. She also studied a BA in Communication Science at UNISA.
