Dada Koyana has been involved in television, theatre and film for the past eight years. She has appeared on Generations and Isidingo and was one of the original Backstage cast when the programme began in 2000. Most recently Dada was seen on Zero Tolerance. She has explored the musical theatre genre in Little Shop of Horrors together with some acapella singing. She has an alto voice range. Dada has also explored the film medium in God is African and Drum. She has recently been doing AIDS awareness educational corporate performances, as well as corporate performances for banking institutions.Dada has an aptitude for languages and speaks some Italian and French in addition to Xhosa and English.
