Therese Benade is a South African actress best known for her role as Cherise van Tonder in the SABC1 drama series Home Affairs, from 2005-2009.
She is also known for playing the title role in the kykNET drama series Song vir Katryn (2003-2005), which also aired on M-Net and SABC2.
Therese grew up in Estcourt (youngest of 3 kids), Natal, studied in Bloemfontein, spent 18 months in London before moving to Cape Town for 3 1/2 years, and currently lives in Johannesburg.
